Dorinda D. E. Nusum is the author of four Christian fiction novels; Sins and Sacrifices, The Victory, Afflicted, and The Back Pew Crew. From the onset, she has always enjoyed reading and writing. Trapping herself into a literary world was her favorite pass-time. Those who know her best will attest to the fact that she was rarely seen without either books or papers and a pen in hand. As a child, Dorinda won several awards for poetry and prose. During her years of schooling, she paid special attention to subjects that would help to sharpen her skills. She joined the Speech and Drama Club where she vigorously took part in debate, poetry interpretation, and dramatic arts. She also became active in journalism.

Dorinda tours nationwide meeting readers and signing her books. Presently, Dorinda’s touring is limited to only a few areas per year as she also holds a full time job as an English instructor. She has been a teacher for over twelve years. The author holds a B.A. degree in English and Sociology and an M. Ed. in the Leadership of Educational Organizations. She began her teaching career in the public school system, but has been an educator of incarcerated youth for the past seven years. Dorinda attests that although she enjoyed her time in the public school setting, working with incarcerated youth has been invigorating and rewarding.

Since her written works have been in greater demand, it is Dorinda’s intent to venture out more and to further explore her literary options. For now, Dorinda enjoys busily juggling teaching, writing, and family. The author is married and has two sons.
